Routers & Switches

Networks that connect to the Internet need to have a router gateway. These devices connect the local network in your home or business with a provider’s network that connects you to the Internet. Routers can serve multiple functions. Many general consumer grade routers can route traffic from local networks to the Internet and offer a firewall to block traffic coming from the Internet onto local networks. They can also provide switching for local area networks devices and often include other features that are useful, including single and dual band wireless connectivity, guest networks, and shared USB ports. At Solutions, we recommend TP-Link routers and switches. Stop by and learn which router would work best in your application. If you purchase from Solutions we will configure it for you and give you a quick tutorial on how to connect to it.
